Departures & Rates

Take a 7-night trip and visit the best of Honduras. Start in San Pedro Sula, and, after a tour, transit to Azul Meambar National Park. The park is home for migratory birds and features an impressive waterfall and an eco-archaeological park. Next, transfer to Gracias and visit the fortress San Cristobal. Afterward, transfer to Copan, learning more about the Mayans and their mysterious demise at the legendary Copan Archaeological Park. From there, transfer back to San Pedro Sula on your way back home. Starting from $1750, including air, with daily departures.

Day 1 - Miami/San Pedro Sula
Depart Miami via Avianca Airlines for San Pedro Sula. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. (Ejecutivo/Hilton Princess)

Day 2 - San Pedro Sula/Azul Meambar National Park
Start your tour from the downtown area of San Pedro Sula.Visit "Guamilito," the colorful local handicraft market, and stop at a banana plantation on the way to the Lake Yojoa region. Reach Azul Meambar National Park in the afternoon, and check in the park's rustic visitor lodge. (B)

Day 3 - Azul Meambar National Park
The park is home for many migratory birds. Take an early morning hike and do some birdwatching around the lodge. Later visit the impressive waterfall, Pulhapanzak, and the eco-archaeological park of Los Naranjos. Return to the lodge in the afternoon. (B)

Day 4 - Azul Meambar/Gracias
Drive to Gracias, passing the heart of Honduras mainland. After check in, discover the colonial history of Gracias with its churches and the fortress San Cristobal. (Guancascos/Posada de Don Juan) (B)

Day 5 - Gracias/Copan 
Today tour the village of Santa Rosa and visit the famous "Flor de Copan" tobacco factory, before continuing to the picturesque village of Copan. (Camino Maya/Marina) (B)

Day 6 - Copan
Today visit the legendary archaeological park of Copan, a 20-minute walk from the Copan town. The park consists of two main sites: the ruins and the sepultures. Study the 63-step stairway with over 2,500 hieroglyphs and masterfully carved stelae. (B)

Day 7 - Copan/San Pedro Sula
This morning is left free for you to explore Copan and its cobblestone streets. In the afternoon drive back to San Pedro Sula. (Ejecutivo/Hilton Princess) (B)

Day 8 - San Pedro Sula/Miami
Transfer to San Pedro Sula airport in time for your departure flight to Miami via Avianca. (B)
