What a wonderful trip. I fell in love with Stockholm and the fjords were magnificent. I saw those little villages at the bottom of the fjords …. Bergen was also charming.
I think Stockholm is probably now my favorite place. Every hotel was so convenient and ideally situated. It is my second trip through Groupon and I will book again.

Thought I'd send you a quick thank you for getting our Tahiti trip organized. We are now on Moorea on the deck of our over water bungalow, and it is brilliant. The flights went well, and the first night hotel was organized and excellent. The ferry over to Moorea was on time as was the shuttle to the hotel.
The Intercontinental Hotel is excellent. The service is great and the amenities are first rate.
I travel for work every week and I'm a Hilton Lifetime Diamond member, so I am an experienced, jaded traveler. For me to be excited about a hotel or travel it has to be pretty spectacular, and it is.
Highly recommend this package.

The trip was fabulous!! So many amazing sights! The water is just an unbelievable color. It looks fake even when you're in it! The Tahitians are incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Air Tahiti Nui was wonderful. Everything was on time, the food was good, and the service great. Air Tahiti in the islands was also very good, right on time and no issues.
The hotels in Tahiti and Moorea were spectacular. Everything was great. … The overwater bungalow in Moorea was unbelievable. So comfortable, peaceful, and really fancy. We snorkeled off of our deck and went swimming. We also did standup paddle boarding. We took a snorkeling tour in Moorea and got to touch the stingrays and see sharks and all types of tropical fish. We rented a car in both Tahiti and Moorea and drove all the way around both islands. … We really enjoyed that. Moorea was our favorite. Less bustle than Tahiti, the water was great, and our accommodations were of course the nicest there.
The water colors in Bora Bora are the most spectacular. Matira beach near our hotel was incredible in that you could walk out for a half mile or more without your feet leaving the ground. The hotel had kayaks and snorkeling gear, which we used to paddle around the huge lagoon off the hotel beach.
Overall, amazing trip of a lifetime! I thought we got a lot for what we paid.

We just returned from Dubai and would like to thank you very much for your help. We enjoyed this trip. Everything was great: the hotel, our room was nice and clean, the hotel workers every single one was very polite and friendly, and the tours were great. From the moment we arrived, the driver was there to pick us up and take us to the hotel. The next day we had a half day tour that was also very good and friendly, and the River Dhol cruise and dinner was very good.
Dubai is beautiful and safe and clean. Thank you very much for all your help. Feel free to send emails with the different tours you guys organize.

The world is a book ... those who do not travel read only a page ... those who do not travel with Pacific Holidays ... do not know all the excitement and surprises that await them after every sunrise and before every sunset. I have been traveling with Pacific Holidays ever since I retired. I realize that I need to experience the land tours now and save the cruising for when I may no longer have the stamina for climbing the Himalayas, the mountaintop monasteries , the temples, the riverwalks, the botanical gardens, the zoos and tea plantations. I feel very fortunate to have been able to travel to many Asian countries ...and look forward to continuing to plan more adventure in this great big world of ours.

We have just come back from our trip to Bali and it was amazing! The country itself is the most amazing gem. The people are wonderful, the cities, suburbs, mountains, forests and temples were amazing. My mother and I agree there is no other place like it.
Our accommodations were lovely and we felt well located in both Sanur and Ubud.
Our guide and driver were an excellent team! From the airport pick up to local tours, sharing cultural experiences, personal stories, and recommendations for activities, we would not have had the same trip without them. Both were very attentive to our requests and questions. I think every traveler leaves thinking "I didn't get to do that one thing" or " I never found out about ...." Not the case with these two. We have no regrets thanks to their guidance.

Thank you sooo much for putting this together for us. The flights on TAME were fantastic –crew, attendants, food, all were perfect. We were met at every destination by courteous, helpful, knowledgeable tour guides.
San Cristobal was really neat …. a step back in time. Accommodations were spacious, clean and convenient. Guides were great, and the experience climbing to the top of Frigate Hill was once in a lifetime. So many beautiful pictures. The dive and snorkel guides were excellent. They helped Charlotte snorkel for the first time and made her feel less scared. Scenery and natural wildlife was unbelievable.
We were so surprised how great Guayaquil was. Many sites of interest, both on tour and on our own. Our guide and driver were fantastic. Historical Park was so neat to walk through, climbing the stairs to the artist colony, the promenade with all the Xmas decorations, the Victorian restaurant on a canal was awesome.
All in all, the trip exceeded our expectations. Thank you for putting this trip together.

The highlight of the trip for me was seeing a traditional Balinese wedding. The guide was very nice and allowed us to depart late that day, due to that we were all so interested in the ceremony, which was at the Lor hotel. I will send you a few photos as they are among my favorite.
Our guide was a special guide and person. I wish Bali was not so far away. It was very interesting the difference between Jakarta and that area and the island of Bali.

The InterContinental Moorea was an incredible resort hat exceeded my expectations in every area. The people who worked there were wonderful. They and everyone on the island made us feel special and took great care of us.
The InterContinental Tahiti was a nice surprise. The resort is a perfectly maintained oceanfront park with some of the most incredible infinity pools with islands and spectacular views.
We did at least two different things each day and still had time to relax. The people there are the friendliest, nicest, warmest people in the world (and I do a lot of traveling).

How can I even begin to narrow down our trip into highlights?! Every day was a highlight. From Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove in Coromandel, to jet boating and a helicopter ride in Lake Taupo, everyday was pure FUN!
If I have to say, I think one of our favorite and very unique experience was the Tamaki Village Maori cultural experience. It was unique to New Zealand and its history. Our trip was all very busy but so much fun!
Fiji allowed us to slow down and really enjoy the wonderful hospitality, beautiful scenery and relaxation. We went island hopping to snorkel and kayak. Beautiful!

Ken and I returned last week from our holiday. It was great and what an experience we had.
Our guide Dom and our sherpa Kirin were great guys and were with us every step of the way. Dom even stayed on after the trek and got us to Chitwan and our raft trip. They both went above and beyond, and it is truly appreciated.
Ken and I loved the trek. It was difficult for two 62-year-old guys, but we did it and were able to do it at our own pace. Dom was very accommodating in every way.

South Pacific Islands 2014

We returned from our South Pacific trip last night tired but well satisfied.
Vanuatu was a neat place -- you could safely walk into town. The cascades were a highlight, which we did via taxi.
West Samoa was fine …. very genuine. We really felt we were in the South Pacific. The local people throughout the trip were sincere, honest and very friendly. Savaii was laid back but great, and the resort manager was wonderful. We almost hated to leave.
Next year we would be interested in returning to the South Pacific and exploring some other islands. What do you suggest?
Bottom line ---it was a great trip leaving hundreds of wonderful memories!

We had a magnificent time on our Peru trip. Such engaging culture, such entrancing ruins, such thrilling landscapes, such variety of nature, that every day was a new adventure.
Our trek guide met us the first day and briefed us. Your local operator was ready to supply any gear we were missing, but we had no need. …. The trek went very well. Machu Picchu was of course breathtaking and sublime, perched on a massive granite spire overlooking the Andes mountains.

The trip not only met my expectations, but far exceeded them. You know how sometimes you can build something up and then when it happens it's a disappointment? This trip was far and above all that I had built it up in my mind, which is saying a lot.
Someone lately asked me, "What was the worst part of the trip?" I answered that there was NO worst part. We had the best accommodations, transportations, scenery, and food, and there were only great people. Our flights were all on time, and our baggage followed us wherever we went.

I wanted to let you know how wonderful our trip to New Zealand and Fiji was. It's been two months since we came back and my 3.5 yr old still mentions it. She says she wants to take her grandma and aunt along with us next time.
The accommodations suited our needs very well. We were very pleased to have rented the camper for our self-drive tour of New Zealand. It was spacious and allowed us to make meals on the road when we needed to.
Fiji was fabulous and just what the kids needed and wanted after driving around New Zealand and sleeping at different places almost every night. Our bure was lovely and spacious. We had a relaxing and peaceful view of the ocean. The kids could just walk out and play in the sand. The resort was family and kid-friendly, with a pool and playground for them to enjoy. The food was very delicious.

Once again, thanks for letting me participate in the Fam to El Salvador. The itinerary was very interesting and diverse. The country has it all: churches, Mayan ruins, volcanoes, colonial towns, beaches, lakes and great shopping. Not to mention the weather was great
I liked staying at the variety of hotels. It was also fun trying different restaurants and sampling the local food. El Salvador is a beautiful country and has a lot to offer.

The tour from Pacific Holidays was first class. In a nutshell, it was smooth and as exciting as planned.
We were met as scheduled, without failure, by guides and drivers who got us from and to the airports with style and safety, and provided us with the travel confirmation documents that we needed. The drivers were all personable, safe, and helpful. The hotels were all ones to which we would gladly return, and the city or area (e.g., Mekong River) tours were full of important things to see and do.
The guides all spoke English, and in several cases they were exceptionally fluent not only in English but in the background or history of whatever places we visited. The guides were personable, very polite, and also truly responsive to our wishes, whether an adjustment in itinerary and the components of a meal. Three in particular were among the best guides that we have encountered over many years of travel: Quang in Hanoi, Sokhary in Phnom Penh, and, especially, Monirom in Siem Reap. Rom was a true professor of history, art, culture, linguistics, sociology and more, and we could go on-and-on about his consideration and skill in making our visits to popular sights unique and comfortable.
Evelyn says that this is the best guided tour that we have ever had in every respect -- and I agree. Thus, we love Indochina even more than we anticipated, and we intend to return and spend more time in each country.
We would gladly recommend Pacific Holidays to others contemplating a tour such as we took.
