E-documents facilitate uploading to electronic devices, and they are more eco-friendly. Print documentation is available on request.

All tour costs are based on per person, double occupancy West Coast departures for trans-Pacific flights and East Coast departures for trans-Atlantic flights. Government taxes and fees, which are included in the prices, are as follows: September 11th Security Fee of $5.60 per enplanement at a US airport per one-way trip • Passenger Facility Charges of up to $4.50 per segment (up to a maximum of four such charges per round trip) • US Domestic Flight Segment Fee of $4.00 per segment (defined as one takeoff and one landing) • Hawaii and Alaska Travel Facilities Tax of $8.90 per direction for flights between continental US and Hawaii or Alaska, or flights between Hawaii and Alaska • US Immigration and Naturalization User Fee of $7.00 • US Customs User Fee of $5.50 • US APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) Fee of $3.95 • US International Transportation Tax of $17.80 per arrival or departure. • Foreign Government security/tourism/airport/international transportation taxes and fees of up to $250.00 (varies widely by destination and fluctuates with exchange rates) are not included in tour package rates.

Although prices are current at the time of printing, airlines frequently change their prices as a result of fare increases and/or surcharges. Therefore, prices may differ when you book your travel, and prices are not guaranteed until full payment is received. Please call Pacific Holidays for the most current prices.

  • Terms and Conditions

    AIR TRANSPORTATION
Air transportation is in economy class on IATA carrier, based on lowest promotional airfares and subject to terms and conditions set by the airlines. Airfares quoted are those in effect at time of printing and are subject to change without notice. Airfares can be protected from increase only by payment in full and the issuance of tickets. Changes in flight itineraries by the passenger after the issuance of tickets may result in a change fee and an increased airfare. When an airline has sold out its promotional airspace quoted in the package, a different booking code with a higher rate will be used at additional cost. Airlines reserve the right to change schedules without notice. Under the packages stated herein, the airline is a supplier of air transportation only. The other suppliers providing transportation, hotel accommodations, and rail and rental car services under these vacation packages are independent contractors and are not employees of the airlines. Because of increased liability concerns, airlines are imposing additional insurance surcharges with/without prior notice. Airline fuel surcharges (as of Nov 15, 2018) are included in the tour package rates and subject to change. Airfare quoted could be adjusted accordingly. Government taxes and fees, which are included in the prices, are as follows: September 11th Security Fee of $5.60 per enplanement at a US airport per one-way trip • Passenger Facility Charges of up to $4.50 per segment (up to a maximum of four such segments per round trip)  • US Domestic Flight Segment Fee of $4.20 per segment (defined as one takeoff and one landing) • Hawaii and Alaska International Air Transportation Tax of $9.30 per direction for flights between continental US and Hawaii or Alaska, or flights between Hawaii and Alaska as part of an international journey • US Immigration and Naturalization User Fee of $7.00 • US Customs User Fee of $5.77 • US APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) Fee of $3.96 • US International Transportation Tax of $18.60 per arrival or departure.

    LAND ARRANGEMENTS
Land operators overseas arrange all hotel accommodations, transportation by air/rail/boat/ bus/car, and meals and sightseeing tours as specified in the itinerary. They reserve the right to change the schedules, hotels, means of transportation and sightseeing without notice, credit or refund. Sightseeing tours could be seat-in-coach/join in tours by motorcoach or by private car with English-speaking guide, depending on each destination on Pacific Holidays tours. Arrival and departure transfers could be by private car/coach with or without English-speaking guide depending on each destination. This will be clearly stated on tour voucher. If it is originally seat-in-coach tour/transfer and private transfer/tour is requested, additional charge will be required. Land Only prices listed in the Pacific Holidays brochure include air or surface transportation between cities within Asia, Latin America and South Pacific on the itinerary unless otherwise specified. All hotels listed for the programs are carefully selected for their service, location and price. If one of these hotels is fully booked at the time of reservation, Pacific Holidays and its local representative will substitute reservation with a similar hotel at similar standard and price. If a hotel of the same category cannot be found, a better or lesser hotel will be used. Price may change accordingly. Some airfare, hotel and cruise prices listed in Pacific Holidays programs are based on early booking or booking deadline requirements, as noted in certain programs. If reservation is made later than required, prices will be higher. Room categories in all programs are usually run-of-the-house, or garden-view room/bungalow or as specified. If one specific category requested or included is not available at time of booking, a different room category can be reserved at a different rate. To guarantee honeymoon rates/bonuses, wedding certificate required. Most hotels offer honeymoon discount rates/bonuses within 6-12 months from wedding.

    TOUR MANAGER
A scheduled departure with more than 15 participants will have a tour manager from Pacific Holidays. His/her service will start in the first city in Asia/ Latin America/South Pacific and end in the last city on the itinerary. However, many Pacific Holidays tour packages go to remote and less-frequented destinations. Our group departure may have fewer than 15 participants. In this case the tour will be locally escorted or hosted.

    GUARANTEED DEPARTURES
All Pacific Holidays tour programs are guaranteed departure even with only one participant unless otherwise specified. Single supplement is required. Pacific Holidays reserves the right to cancel or modify certain departures due to cancellation or change of service by airlines, ground operators, and hotels.

    RESERVATION & DEPOSITS
A deposit of $500 per person is required - plus a non-refundable deposit that some air, hotels, and cruises may require - at time of booking made through your Travel Agent or Pacific Holidays. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. A surcharge of $75 per booking will be imposed for packages less than $1,000 per person. All bookings are subject to availability at time of reservation. Additional deposit(s) or full payment for critical air, hotel or land segments because of high season and/ or group reservation may be required.

    CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

By signing the Credit Card Authorization Form and reading Pacific Holidays terms and conditions, the card holder agrees to be responsible for payment for the ticket(s)/ services or other purchases indicated on the form. Whether card holder decides to use these services or not, he/she will not place a stop payment order or dispute on the credit card tendered as payment for such service. If credit card holder decides not to use the services, he/she, not the travel agent, will be responsible for any penalties due to his/her purchases. No Signature on File charges are accepted.

NO REFUND will be granted to unused land portion once the tour has begun. All refund claims must be made in writing through the agent from whom the tour has been purchased no later than 30 days after termination of trip. Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended. Claims for refund for services not rendered must be accompanied by a statement from the Tour Manager or Pacific Holidays local representative certifying exactly the services not rendered. • FAQs
  • Important Travel Tips
    Travel Tips
(Please read this important travel information before departure.)

    Dear Passenger,

On behalf of Pacific Holidays, we welcome you as an honored guest and offer some tips to enhance your trip.

    Check-in:
Due to security at airports it is imperative that you check in for your flight at least 3 hours (for international travel) and 2 hours (for domestic flights) prior to departure, especially when seats on some carriers cannot be pre-assigned. Don’t forget to have your valid US passport in your hand luggage to present at the ticket counter, at security checkpoints and to immigration/customs officials.

    Reconfirmation:
It is important to reconfirm your return or continuing flight(s) at least 72 hours prior to departure. Your flight’s departure time may have changed. Failure to reconfirm may result in cancellation of your reservation. Once reconfirmed, you still must allow a minimum check-in time of 3 hours for international flights (2 hours for domestic flights). Pacific Holidays’ local agency will assist you in this matter in most cases. But you must still take the initiative and make sure you have everything set, especially when you are traveling independently.

    Passports:
For most destinations, your passport must be valid for at least six months after your tour return date to the USA. Also, an adequate number of blank pages (2-4, not counting amendment pages) is required for visa stamps. If you need to apply for a new or renewed passport, or to add extra pages, be sure to allow adequate time for processing and mailing, and to allow for having your passport available in time for any visa applications.

    Visas:
While we may be able to offer some assistance in getting your visa (if visa is required), it is your responsibility to make sure you comply with all travel requirements of the country of destination. Non-US passport holders, as well as US green card holders with foreign passports, will need to be attentive to the requirements for citizens of their home countries. The following destinations require a visa in advance or, in some cases, visa pre-authorization for all US citizens: Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Bolivia, Brazil, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. Note: For some of these countries, a visa on arrival may be possible, but we generally recommend getting your visa in advance. Since visa procedures vary widely, consult Pacific Holidays or your travel agent for visa information.

    Clothing:
There are many restaurants and coffee shops where tie and jacket are not necessary, but some gentlemen may wish to bring jacket and tie if dining at deluxe establishments. Check for the latest weather conditions of your destination in the newspaper or the weather channel (in some areas).

    Baggage:
For efficient travel, we recommend that each passenger travel light, with only one suitcase and one carry-on bag. Carry-on baggage must fit easily in the Carry-on Baggage Check, which is located near the check-in counters and at the gate and is approximately 22" x 14" x 9" (or 56 x 36 x 23 cm). On trans-Atlantic, trans-Pacific and other international flights, passengers are generally allowed either 1 or 2 pieces of check-in baggage weighing 50 lbs (23 kg) per piece and 62 inches (157 cm) in total length + width + height for each piece. For domestic and foreign country internal air travel, airline baggage allowance is usually more restricted. Generally, you may bring check-in baggage weighing a total of 44 lbs (20 kg). Since airline policies vary and are subject to change, you are advised to check with the airlines near your departure date. The airline will charge a fee if you bring more than its allowance. This fee is not included in Pacific Holidays tour package.

    Arrival:
If you have booked transfers, you will be met outside customs by our local ground operator (name, address, and phone number listed on your travel voucher) and transferred to your hotel. If you reserved a car (and have our voucher), proceed to the car rental counter to pick up your car. Please remember to allow sufficient time for the car drop-off and billing if you are taking a flight. If you did not reserve transfers or a car, proceed directly to your hotel. Please make sure you have the correct address and phone number for the hotel where you are staying.

    Assistance:
The local ground operator listed on your voucher is responsible for most of the pre-booked services requested by you or your travel agent (transfers, hotel accommodations, car rental, sightseeing tours, evening entertainments, etc.) and has offices in most major cities with some English-speaking staff to assist you. You may call or visit their office(s) to book other excursions, etc. IF SOMETHING DURING YOUR TRIP IS NOT TO YOUR SATISFACTION, PLEASE CONTACT THE LOCAL TOUR COMPANY FOR ASSISTANCE.

    Tour Arrangements:
In very rare cases due to circumstances beyond our control, we may find it necessary to alter the sequence of the itinerary, or to substitute hotels. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

    Safe Keeping:
Remember to keep your passport and other valuables in a safe place during your trip; i.e., hotel safe-deposit box.

    Vouchers and Itinerary:
Pacific Holidays now issues e-documents, in line with the airlines’ move to electronic tickets and ticketless flights, which are less prone to fraud. Pacific Holidays’ e-documents include not only e-tickets but electronic itineraries, service vouchers and some important information on the destinations. E-documents facilitate uploading to electronic devices, and they are more eco-friendly. We recommend that you print your service vouchers, however, since some operators require printed vouchers. Print documentation is available on request.

    Train Travel:
If your tour includes train travel, keep in mind that you will need to carry your baggage from platform to platform. You may ask the porter to assist you with your baggage, allowing for a tip for this service. Also, you may have to share a berth and/or compartment with strangers.

    Tipping:
Tips to drivers and guides are not included in our tour package rates. Tipping customs and amounts vary from one destination to another. For independent and group travel, we suggest tips of US $2-$5 per day for the tour guide and US $1-2 per day for the driver for a full-day tour (more for private tours); and US $1-$2 per bag for hotel porters. Generally, the amount to tip will depend on your satisfaction with the service you receive

For further information, please contact your professional travel agent, or the national tourist office for the country you are visiting.

Thank you for choosing Pacific Holidays.

We wish you a pleasant trip.
