Take a 6-night trip, starting your journey to Korea in Seoul. A full-day tour of this national capital includes the Gyeongbok Palace, Jogyesa Temple, and the National Folk Museum. Next, transfer to Mt. Gaya National Park, where you visit Haeinsa Temple, known as a repository of one of Asia's most comprehensive compilations of Buddhist scriptures. Day 1 - San Francisco or Los Angeles/Seoul
Depart from San Francisco or Los Angeles via China Airlines. Cross International Dateline.
Day 2 - Arrive Seoul

Day 3 - Seoul
A full-day tour of this national capital includes Gyeongbok Palace, Jogyesa Temple, the National Folk Museum and pass by the Blue House. After lunch, tour includes Bokchon Hanok Villege, N Seoul Tower, and the traditional Namdaemun Market. Tour finishes at your hotel. (B/L)
Day 4 - Seoul/Mt. Gaya/Gyeongju
In the morning, meet with local English-speaking driver-guide and transfer to Hapcheon by road. Visit Mt. Gaya National Park and the Haeinsa Temple, known as the repository of the Tripitaka Koreana. Then drive to Gyeongju. Overnight at your hotel. (The K Gyeongju Hotel) (B)
Day 5 - Gyeongju
Today's full-day tour takes you to Tumuli Park, the 6th-century Bulguksa Temple of the Silla Kingdom, Seokguram Grotto, Donggung Palace, Wolji Pond, the 7th-century Cheomseongdae astronomical observatory, and the National Museum. (B)
Day 6 - Gyeongju/Seoul
Return to Seoul by road. Overnight at your hotel. (Amid Hotel) (B)
Day 7 - Seoul/DMZ/Seoul
Take a full-day excursion to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and vicinity. Two kilometers away from the truce line on the North and South border, the DMZ is one of the last relics of the Cold War and a unique area where tension and peace coincide. Tour finishes at your hotel in Seoul. (B)
Day 8 - Seoul/San Francisco or Los Angeles
Today you are transferred to the airport for your return flight to the USA. Arrive the same day in San Francisco or Los Angeles. (B)
