Take a 6-night trip, starting your journey to Korea in Seoul, where you see the Gyeongbok Palace, Jogyesa Temple, and the National Folk Museum. Next, transfer to Daegu and travel to Mt. Day 1 - San Francisco or Los Angeles/Seoul
Depart from San Francisco or Los Angeles via Singapore Airlines. Cross International Dateline.
Day 2 - Seoul

Day 3 - Seoul

Day 4 - Seoul/Mt. Gaya/Daegu
In the morning, meet with local English-speaking driver-guide and transfer to Mt. Gaya National Park. Tour the Park and the Haeinsa Temple, known as the repository of the Tripitaka Koreana. Overnight at your hotel in the central city of Daegu. (Daegu Laonzena) (B)
Day 5 - Daegu/Gyeongju

Day 6 - Gyeongju/Seoul

Day 7 - Seoul
Take a full-day excursion to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and vicinity. Two kilometers away from the truce line on the North and South border, the DMZ is one of the last relics of the Cold War and a unique area where tension and peace coincide. Tour finishes at your hotel in Seoul. (B)
Day 8 - Seoul/San Francisco or Los Angeles
Today you are transferred to the airport for your return flight to the USA. Arrive the same day in San Francisco or Los Angeles. (B)
