Take a fascinating 8-night journey via award-winning Emirates Airlines to Egypt and Dubai. Arrive in Cairo, a mega-city rich in history and culture on the banks of the river Nile. Spend a day touring that includes the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world's finest collections of Egyptian antiquities. The next day, you are free to explore Cairo on your own. Then, fly Emirates to Dubai for a five-night stay. Your half-day city tour is an opportunity to explore the traditional city of merchants and modern Dubai. Before your return to the US, enjoy a full day on your own to discover the amazing port city of Dubai. Starting from $2295 per person, including air from New York City. Departures from other US gateway cities via Emirates Airlines are available. Rates are valid from June 1 through October 31, 2023.

Day 1 - USA/Cairo
Depart via Emirates Airlines from New York City (other US gateway cities available) for Cairo.

Day 2 - Arrive Cairo
Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where you are met and transferred to the hotel. (Cairo Pyramids Hotel or similar)

Day 3 - Cairo
This morning, you meet your Egyptologist and head to Giza plateau. Begin your sightseeing with the Giza Plateau and marvel at the sight of the three Great Pyramids of Giza: Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafre), and Mykerinos (Menkaure). Afterward, continue your tour at the Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world’s finest collections of Egyptian antiquities. Among the museum's many treasures are those that Howard Carter discovered in 1922 from the tomb of Tutankhamun. (B)

Day 4 - Cairo
Another day in the capital for you to explore on your own or participate in local optional tour. (B)

Day 5 - Cairo/Dubai
After breakfast, head to Cairo airport for your flight to Dubai. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. (Hilton Garden Inn Al Muraqabat) (B)

Day 6 - Dubai
This morning you are picked up for your half-day city tour, a chance to discover the traditional city of merchants and modern Dubai. The tour begins with a drive into the Palm Jumeirah, dubbed as the eighth wonder of the world, and head for a quick photostop in front of the Atlantis Hotel. Then drive toward the Jumeirah Mosque, built in the tradition of the Fatimid mosques of Egypt. Then travel toward famous Sheikh Zayed Road highway to view Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, from a long distance. Your journey continues toward the old part of the city, passing impressive palaces of the ruling family of Dubai en route to Dubai Creek. Visit the Dubai Museum and the Al Fahidi fort, which is almost two centuries old and is a living monument of Dubai’s illustrious and prominent past. Then visit the famous gold and spice souk and a souvenir shop. Your tour ends at the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel with a stop outside the hotel for photographs. Return to your hotel. (B)

Day 7 through Day 9 - Dubai
Three more days free to explore on your own. You may want to book an excursion to the nearby city of Abu Dhabi. (B)

Day 10 - Dubai/USA
Transfer to airport for your return flight home via Emirates Airlines. (B)
