(In case you’re wondering, the Blue Tang is a brightly colored tropical fish, commonly seen along our reef.) Stretch out on your deck or stroll on the beach. Sunrise at the Blue Tang Inn is something special. We'll serve you fresh-brewed coffee and Island tasty fruits. No charge, by the way, you are our treasured guest. All newly renovated suites are air conditioned and have fully equipped kitchens. Enjoy the sunlight and breeze provided by the large windows in each suite. Our third floor suites have hard wood floors, vaulted ceilings and Jacuzzi bathtubs. A parador (“stopping place”) is a staple of the Spanish countryside, when old castles and convents were transformed into hostelries for weary knights and travelers. Inspired by these welcoming retreats, the Dutch Schans family opened the doors of their own parador in Costa Rica in 1995.
