La Mision Hotel in Colonia del Sacramento is framed by trees surrounding a refurbished eighteenth-century house that maintains its original stone walls and its courtyard with a well.

The courtyard is decorated with plants complimenting the Old Spanish architecture, harmoniously blending open spaces with nature. The courtyard is surrounded by a great variety of plants and creates a mystic atmosphere at night. The light of the torches cast a silhouette of the well and highlights the small arbor from the upper floor. This creates a warm and harmonic environment that recalls the beauties of another era.
