InterContinental Tahiti Resort offers 221 rooms in its main buildings, broken down into four different categories: 16 standard rooms, 60 garden view rooms with a view of the colorful tropical gardens and finally 85 lagoon view rooms (two of them being wheelchairs accessible) offering a superb view of the lagoon and Tahiti's twin island Moorea. These rooms all boast a spacious 307 sq ft, not counting the balcony, and may be obtained with a king-size bed or two twin beds. At the secluded end of the resort, 60 Panoramic View Rooms of 414 sq. ft. each, 16 junior-suite overwater bungalows are arranged around the motu, and 14 more are located farther out over the lagoon.
The Tiare Restaurant with its open kitchen is the heart of the hotel's ground floor, looking out over the stage, infinity pool, waterfalls and Moorea's spectacular silhouette and mountains. Lunch and dinner are served in the gourmet, overwater restaurant Le Lotus.
