Fretheim Hotel is a beautiful white timber building situated at the innermost point of an arm of the Sognefjorden. The hotel's many traditions extend all the way back to 1870, and we are committed to preserving these traditions, while also adapting them to the modern age. The newest part of the hotel was built in 2000 and only a glass facade separates the old part from the new part. In the historical part of the hotel, which was built in the period 1850-1970, we have preserved the soul of Fretheim Hotel.
Fretheim Hotel offers a total of 122 rooms in various categories, all with beautiful views of the fjord and/or mountains. All our rooms are non-smoking and the majority are also carpet-free.
