Flamsbrygga is a cluster of buildings by the Aurlandsfjord, just a few steps from the Flam Railway and the quay, yet quiet and secluded.
The courtyard, comprising hotel, restaurant, café and Aegir BrewPub, is surrounded by gardens and parks, with magnificent mountains, a beach and boat life nearby, and boasts views over the fjord.
Flamsbrygga is small and intimate, and boasts a distinctive style – at once traditional and contemporary. Guest rooms have balconies and fjord views, are contemporary in style and built using Norwegian timber, driftwood, stone and glass.
This a non-smoking hotel, with smoking pavilion in the garden.
Flamsbrygga Hotel – the Brewery Hotel, opened in 2008. Aegir BrewPub is built in Norse Viking style, with the exterior reminiscent of a stave church. Opened in 2007, the Aegir Tasting Room Peisestova, Flamstova Restaurant and Furukroa Café were all renovated between 2010 and 2015.
Aegir is our very own brewery and is now one of the best craft breweries in Norway. Aegir BrewPub is unique and one of Flam’s biggest attractions. Aegir beer is world-class, and has won gold, silver and bronze medals in international competitions. Aegir also makes its own aquavit!
Flamsbrygga has a good location for activities and excursions, cycling the Rallarvegen, hiking in Aurlandsdalen valley, FjordSafari, kayak on the Naeroyfjord, are among the most popular activities.
