COVID-19 Out Break Updates

We are continually receiving many email or phone inquiries about travel overseas as COVID-19 outbreaks impact the travel industry globally. As new developments are happening every day; as countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, Cambodia and many more have started to quarantine or to ban foreign visitors; and as airlines suspend, cancel, or reschedule their flights daily, Pacific Holidays staff are working tirelessly to cancel and to reschedule for hundreds of people daily.
Currently Pacific Holidays is working on cancelling and rescheduling with priority for those who originally planned to depart in March and April, 2020. We will work on departures scheduled for May, June and beyond as soon as we finish the March and April departures.
Currently airlines are not doing any refunds on tickets already issued. Their priority is rebooking, rescheduling and exchanging. Most airlines are giving waivers to exchange and re-issue for no additional charge. Pacific Holidays also will do this service of exchanging and re-issuing free of charge. But travelers have to pay fare or tax differences. No refunds on land and air will be done until travel restrictions are lifted.
Pacific Holidays is based in New York City, which is among those hit hardest in the nation. There are bans on many activities. We have been strongly advised, if not yet required, to work from home. Beginning March 20th, 2020, most of our staff members will be set up and working remotely from home. We will work normally Monday through Friday from 9 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. On Saturday and Sunday our office will be closed. If somehow you cannot not reach us by phone, please email us. Our agents will get back to you as soon as they can.
