Shewe Wana is a small cozy boutique style resort in Chiang Mai city northern Thailand. We are an environmentally eco-friendly resort do not use any chemicals in the premises, serving our guests with natural ingredient products by the local produce. All rooms are strictly non-smoking.
"Shewe” means life, “Wana” means forest and nature. “Shewe Wana” symbolizes our concept, “Life returning to the Forest”. The reception and the lounge areas are housed in a beautifully restored building dating back to1935. It is in the style of a colonial era Chinese shop-house typical of that time.
Shewe Wana is designed to host only a limited number of guests at a time, allowing us to accommodate all of our valued customers with warm, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Shewe Wana is the ideal holiday retreat for those who desire to indulge themselves in a tranquility escaping from the hustle-bustle urban life style.
The Shewe Wana Boutique Wing is a cozy boutique resort with two room types; the Superior Double rooms and the Superior Twin rooms furnished with Thai-style wood furniture and windows with the view of the lovely garden and pool-side setting.
Aside from a daily breakfast, the 2 on-site restaurants serve a variety of vegetarian, Thai and European dishes. The restaurants also feature lovely garden views and personalised menus including gluten-free dishes, which can be prepared upon request.
