Day 1, Arrive Bali
Arrive Denpasar and transfer to your accommodations at Grand Bali Beach Hotel or Ayodya Resort.

Day 2, Bali
Set off this morning on an excursion to the impressive Mt. Batur, an active volcano in eastern Bali. Stop at Goa Gajah (the Elephant Cave), a unique ancient site carved into the rock face and dating back to the eleventh century.
Upon return, view the gently sloping rice terraces of Sebatu, visit Gunung Kawi Temple, a complex of pavilions and rock-cut shrines cut into the hillside, and browse in the famous woodcarvers' galleries. (B/L)

Day 3, Bali . (B/D)
A half-day tour begins with a graceful and stylized Barong dance performance, followed by a visit to an art gallery in Peliatan. Continue to Ubud, where you are taken to the market in the town's center and to Sayan Gorge for a view of Ayung River. Late this afternoon, travel to watch the sunset from the Hindu temple at Uluwatu. Enjoy a dinner of Balinese specialties.

Day 4, Depart Bali (B)
