Day 1 - New York/Azores Islands

Day 2 - Arrive Sao Miguel, Azores Islands

Day 3 - Sao Miguel, Azores Islands
São Miguel is the biggest island in the Portuguese Azores archipelago. Nicknamed the Green Island, it is known for its volcanic scenery, flora and rich marine life, including whales. Ponta Delgada, the regional capital, is home to the 18th-century City Gates, Gothic St. Sebastian Church and 16th-century Fort of São Brás. The twin crater lakes of Sete Cidades, one green and one blue, lie to the northwest. To the east, Furnas has fumaroles and hot springs.
Take a full-day tour to explore the western and central parts of Sao Miguel Island on this tour to Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo. Head to the rim of the dormant Sete Cidades Volcano and take in the stunning views from 650 meters above sea level. Traverse the surrounding villages and rugged terrain with a Jeep. Full-Day Furnas (up to 7 hrs)
Departure from Ponta Delgada to Ribeira Grande, the center of the baroque art in Sao Miguel. Still in the city, you can enjoy a visit to Liqueurs shop Ferreira, where the Passion fruit Liqueur is the crown jewel (tasting included). The tour goes by the north coast with stops at the belvedere of Santa Iria and tea factory of Gorreana, where guests will have the chance to taste the tea. Before arriving in the Parrish of Furnas, stop in the belvedere of Pico de Ferro, surrounded by exuberant vegetation. This place provides a dazzling panorama over Furnas. It’s an extravagant atmosphere where the colors of the flowers mix with the exuberant vegetation from diverse continents. The ride goes on to Furnas Lake, with the gothic outline of the Chapel Nossa Senhora das Vitorias reflected in its limpid waters.
