Your trip begins with a stop in Tokyo, where you will visit the Imperial Palace Plaza and Tokyo Tower. Then, you will head to Nikko, where you will experience the Kirifuri Waterfall and the Toshogu Shrine.
Other stops on your tour of Japan include Kamakura, on the small, popular island of Enoshima. Here, you will visit the Hasedera Temple and have a green tea experience, and take the Escar up to the Enoshima Shrine buildings. You will also visit the historic Hakone Barrier by motorcoach, with a stop along the slope of beautiful Mt. Fuji. You’ll take a cruise on scenic Lake Ashi, which is a crater lake, and ride the Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway. Your overnight stay will be in the breathtaking Hakone hot springs resort area.
Next, you will take a bullet train to Nagoya and on into the Japanese Alps and Takayama. This scenic route includes a visit to World Heritage Sites in Takayama and Kanazawa. Next, you’ll travel by train to Kyoto and Osaka, where you have a walking tour. You’ll travel by train to Osaka Castle and then take a boat cruise. Finally, you will return to Kyoto, and visit the Golden Pavilion and take an excursion to Nara.
The trip includes round trip Trans-Pacific airfare via Singapore Airlines coach class from Los Angeles, as well as round trip airport transfers, and bullet train transfers. You will have 4 nights stay in a double occupancy room in Tokyo, 3 nights stay in a double occupancy room in Kyoto, and one night in a double occupancy room in Hakone, Takayama, and Kanazawa.
