Day 1 - USA/Bogota
Depart from Miami via AviancaTaca Airlines to Bogota, Colombia and arrive at El Dorado International Airport, where you are met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. (BH Tempo Hotel/Sonesta Bogota)
Day 2 - Bogota & La Candelaria
After breakfast, start your city tour of the capital of Colombia. Transfer to the colonial section of La Candelaria, with short stops for photographs at the Plaza de Bolivar, the main square of Bogota. Here you see the Cathedral, the Congress Palace, the Cardinal's Palace, the colonial church of El Sagrario, the House of Independence, the Palace of Justice and City Hall. Visit the famous Gold Museum, which houses the world’s greatest collection of pre-Hispanic indigenous gold crafts. Afterward, take a cable car to the top of Monserrate Hill for an amazing view of the city. (Note: Gold Museum is closed on Monday.) Afternoon at leisure (B)

Day 4 - Bogota/Cartagena
Today, transfer to the airport for your AviancaTaca Airlines flight to Cartegena. Transfer from airport in Cartagena to your hotel. (Regatta Hotel/Capilla del Mar) (B)
Day 5 - Cartagena
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, tour the most important monuments of the city. Go up to the Convent of La Popa, located on a hilltop, and visit the monastery and the chapel of “La Virgen de la Candelaria.” Enjoy a beautiful view of the city and the bay from the top of this hill. Continue to San Felipe's Fort, built in the 17th century to protect the city from the English, French and Dutch pirates. The walled city has a well-preserved colonial architecture and was declared “Patrimony of Humanity” by UNESCO. Here you find Las Bovedas (the old dungeons), which are now boutique shops and handicraft stores, numerous plazas, churches and restaurants. Return to Cartagena for the night. (B)
Day 6 - Cartagena
Full day at leisure. Take an optional day trip to beautiful Rosario Islands, which feature white sand beaches and coral banks that are great for snorkeling, or just lie down on the beach and relax. (B)
Day 7 - Cartagena/USA
After breakfast, you are transferred to the airport for your AviancaTaca flight back to Miami. (B)
