Day 1 - USA/Bogota
Depart from the gateway cities of Miami or New York City via Avianca Airlines to Bogota, Colombia and arrive at El Dorado International Airport. Transfer on own arrangements to hotel. (Bogota Regency Hotel)

Day 2 - Bogota
Full day at leisure to enjoy and discover the city on your own, or take one of our optional tours. (B)
Optional tour - $90 per person
Today's optional tour begins by visiting Bolivar's Square where the most important buildings of the city are, such as: the Cathedral, the Palace of Justice, the President house, and the National Capitol. The tour continues through the Colonial District of La Candelaria and visits the Gold Museum with it's collection of 30,000 pre-Columbian ornaments. Continue on to Bolivar's Country House where the Liberator Simon Bolivar lived. Finally take a cable car to the top of Monserrate that lords over Bogota where you will be able to admire a wonderful view of the city. NOTE: Museums are closed on Mondays.
Day 3 - Bogota

Optional Tour - $105 per person
Travel through the north of the city on your way to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira, built some 600 feet within a salt mine with its 14 small chapels representing the stations of the cross. The Salt Cathedral is a very popular tourist attraction, and of Columbia's greatest architectural achievements.
Day 4 - Bogota/Cartagena
Today, transfer to the airport on own arrangements for your AviancaTaca Airlines flight to Cartegena. Check-in to your hotel. (Regatta Cartagena Hotel) (B)

Day 5 - Cartagena
Day at leisure to explore on your own, or take an optional tour.. (B)
Optional Tour - $105 per person
During the morning, this tour visits the most important monuments of the colonial city, such as Saint Phillip's Fort, La Popa Hill, the walled city, as well as the residential districts of Boca Grande and Castillo Grande.
Day 6 - Cartagena
Full day at leisure. (B)
Optional Tour - $150 per person
Transfer to the dock for a visit to Rosario Islands (Isla Majagua). leaving to the south of the bay of Caragena. These islands are considered a National Natural park with a complex of coral bank populated with a great variety of fauna. Opportunity to swim and practice snorkeling. Full day tour with lunch included. Returned to Cartagena and transfer back to you hotel.
Day 7 - Cartagena/USA
Today, board your Avianca flight back to the USA. (B)
