Day 1, Saturday – Miami/Lima

Day 2, Sunday - Lima/Cuzco
Fly to Cuzco and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour includes the Santo Domingo Convent, built over the Koricancha, an ancient Inca palace and temple of the Sun God. Day 3, Monday - Cuzco/Pisac/Urubamba

In the morning, tour the largest historical center in the Americas. Visit important churches, guardians of a stunning multi-ethnic artistic and cultural heritage. Tour the colonial quarter, Congress building, and Old Town. (B)
Day 10, Monday - Quito/Galapagos
Early morning transfer to airport for your flight to Baltra Airport, Galapagos. Upon arrival, transfer to pier to board the MV Galapagos Legend. Afternoon, sail to the island of Santa Cruz and make a dry landing. Transfer to Santa Cruz highlands, home to a natural reserve with giant tortoises. Day 11, Tuesday - Galapagos Cruise
Sail to Egas Port on the island of Santiago, home to a variety of birds, including the yellow-crowned night heron, and an array of maritime wildlife. Colonies of endemic fur seals are also the highlight. Snorkeling offers rarities such as octopus and squid. Afternoon, make a dry landing at Bartolome. Hike to the summit for views of the surrounding islands. Encounter marine iguanas and lava lizards. (B/L/D)
Day 12, Wednesday - Galapagos Cruise
Arrive at Santa Cruz and make a dry landing. Walk by a brackish lagoon, where you may see feeding flamingos. The trail leads up to Dragon Hill, an important nesting ground for endemic land iguanas and offering views of the anchorage and neighboring islands. Sail to North Seymour and make a dry landing this afternoon. A two-hour walk takes you amidst large nesting colonies of blue-footed boobies, magnificent and great frigate birds, and swallow-tailed gulls. Also encounter sea lions, land iguanas, and, perhaps, a Galapagos snake. (B/L/D)
Day 13, Thursday - Galapagos/Quito
