Sample Itinerary:

Day 1 - Miami/Panama City
Depart Miami via Taca Airlines for Panama City. On arrival, transfer to hotel. (Crowne Plaza Hotel/InterContinental Miramar)

Day 2 - Panama City
Visit the historic cities of Old Panama and Casco Viejo. Lunch at the Amador Causeway, overlooking the north entrance to the Panama Canal and the skyline of Panama City. In the afternoon, tour the Panama Canal's Miraflores locks and its visitors center. Visit a local handicraft market. (B/L)

Day 3 - Panama Canal Transit
Board a boat at the Pacific entrance of the Canal. Sail to Lake Miraflores and Pedro Miguel Locks. After reaching Gailard Cut, the most difficult part of excavation, your journey ends at the Dredging Division. Transit through the Canal includes entertainment, cocktails and lunch. Return to hotel by coach. At night, take the "Chiva Parrandera" (party bus) to a unique show and dining experience. (B/L/D)

Day 4 - Gamboa Rainforest
Travel by land to the Gamboa Rainforest, where you take optional tours for bird-watching, wildlife safari, canopy aerial tram and fauna and flora exhibits at the resort. Overnight at resort. (Gamboa Rainforest Resort) (B)

Day 5 - Pearl Islands
Take a short flight to Contadora. Spend the day cruising under the sun, spotting dolphins and whales. You may relax on deserted beaches, playing volleyball, beach games, or snorkeling. Return to Gamboa Rainforest Resort. (B)

Day 6 - Panama City/Miami
Transfer to airport for your Taca Airlines flight to Miami. (B)
