Sample Itinerary:

Day 1 - Houston/Belize City
Depart via Taca Airlines gateway city Houston, TX, for Belize City, Belize. Arrive and transfer to hotel. (Radisson Fort George Hotel, Colonial room/Club Tower room)

Day 2 - Belize City/Jaguar Paw Resort
At hotel's marina, board a 4-person speedboat and cruise via inland waterways to Northern Lagoon. En route spot crocodiles and observe nestling birds and the gentle manatees. After picnic lunch at Northern Lagoon, relax on the beach. Return to Belize City and board your tour bus to Peccary Park Adventure Center in Gracie Rock Village. Follow a century-old trail to a sacred cave used by the Maya thousands of years ago. Transfer to resort. (Jaguar Paw Resort) (B/L)

Day 3 - Jaguar Paw Resort
Today's adventure features cave tubing on the Caves Branch River, including a one-hour jungle hike to the cave system's entrance. After lunch at the resort, take a guided nature walk through the rainforest. (B/L)

Day 4 - Jaguar Paw Resort/San Ignacio
Start your adventure of Rainforest Ziplining (Aerial Trek) at Jaguar Paw Resort. After lunch, journey to the Cayo District and the impressive Maya site of Xunantunich. Day 5 - San Ignacio
Free day to choose your own adventure. (B)

Day 6 - San Ignacio/Ambergris Caye
After breakfast, drive to Belize's Wildlife Habitat, where you can view Belize's prolific wildlife, including large cats, primates, reptiles and birds. Continue to the village of Burrel Boom, where you board a riverboat for a cruise on the scenic Olde Belize River. Observe basking crocodiles, iguanas, sunbathing turtles and troops of howler monkeys. Then fly from Belize City to the quaint seaside village of Ambergris Caye. Arrive and transfer to hotel. (Legacy Resort/The Villas at Banyan Bay) (B/L)

Day 7 - Ambergris Caye
This morning, snorkel in incredibly clear waters and have a personal encounter with nurse sharks and graceful stingrays at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 8 - Ambergris Caye/Belize City/Houston
Transfer to airport for commuter flight to the Belize International Airport. Connect with Taca Airlines flight to Houston. (B)
