A half-day of sightseeing introduces you to the wonders of this 3,000-year-old city. Highlights include the monumental Tian An Men Square and the expansive courtyards and ceremonial halls of the Forbidden City. Remiander of the day free. (B)

Day 3,  Beijing
Full day free. You have the option to travel up into the mountains northwest of the city for an opportunity to walk on the Great Wall.  Stop at the impressive Ming Tombs en route. This evening you may wish to enjoy a special dinner featuring a course of authentic Peking duck. (B)
