Day 1 - Miami or New York/Santiago
Depart the gateway cities of Miami or New York for Santiago, Chile via your TAM Airlines. Arrive at Santiago International Airport. You are greeted and transferred to the selected hotel. (Majestic Hotel/Hotel Torremayor/Grand Haytt Hotel)
Day 2 - Santiago (B)
This morning’s city tour begins with the Club Hípico, a beautiful horse-racing track. Pass by the Cousiño Palace and many more historical buildings before reaching the heart of Santiago: the "La Moneda" government palace and the banking and business centre. Stop at the Main Square (Plaza de Armas) to view the Cathedral, Post Office and National Museum. Continue along the main avenue called "Alameda" to admire the San Francisco Church, the National Library and then the Santa Lucía Hill, where Santiago was founded in 1541. When arriving at the San Cristobal Hill on the north side of the city, take in a panoramic view of the capital stretched out below, the Andes in background. Going down the hill, you are able to pass through some old and modern neighbourhoods and a market place. Return to your hotel. Balance of day free.
Day 3 - Santiago (B)
The day is at leisure to explore the city on your own. Take an optional museum tour to visit 3 of the most important art and history museums in town. Or visit a vineyard to taste world famous Chilean wine.
Day 4 - Santiago/Buenos Aires (B)
Fly to Buenos Aires via TAM Airlines to arrive at Ezeiza International Airport Buenos Aires the same day a few minutes. You are met and transferred to your accommodations. (De Las Americas Hotel/Americas Tower Hotel/Sofitel)
Day 5 - Buenos Aires (B)
In the morning, you begin to tour this “Paris of South America” visiting the most important sites of interests in Buenos Aires – Plaza de Mayo, the ”Casa Rosada” President’s residence and the famous Teatro Colon Opera House. Drive along Avenida 9 de Julio the widest avenue in the world. Balance of the day free.
Day 6 - Buenos Aires (B)
Full day at leisure to explore the city on your own. Take an optional full-day excursion to a pampas and experience Argentine cowboy’s ranch life. Check out shops and look for great buys in leather products. Make sure you try one of the great Argentine steaks during your stay. In the evening do not miss one of the Tango shows while dining on delicious wine.
Day 7 - Buenos Aires/Rio de Janeiro (B)
Depart via TAM flight for Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and arrive the same day. You are met and transferred to your accommodations. (Golden Tulip Continental Hotel/Luxor Copacabana Hotel/Porto Bay International Hotel)
Day 8 - Rio de Janeiro (B)
Your morning tour begins at Copacabana and Ipanema, two of the world’s famous beaches. A two-stage cable car brings you atop the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain for a panoramic view of the beaches and Guanabara Bay, Afternoon at leisure for shopping or just relaxing on the beach.
Day 9 - Rio de Janeiro (B)
The day is at leisure to explore the city on your own. Spend the day on the beach, or visit the most popular shopping centers of Rio de Janeiro. Or, take optional tour to the Corcovado Mountain where 125-foot “Christ of Redeemer” stands overlooking the entire area. In the evening, you may opt to take a dinner with Samba Show.
Day 10 - Rio de Janeiro/Miami or New York (B)
Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to airport and board your TAM Airlines flight to return to Miami or New York.
