Day 1 - USA/Tokyo
Depart Los Angeles on board a Singapore Airlines flight to Tokyo. Cross the International Date Line.

Day 2 - Tokyo
Transfer to your hotel. (Shiba Park Hotel/Keio Plaza Hotel)

Day 3 - Tokyo
Morning city tour to Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon temple and Tasaki Pearl. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4 - Tokyo/Nikko/Tokyo (L)
Full-day excursion to Nikko, visiting Toshogu Shrine, Rinnoji Temple, Lake Chuzenji, and Kegon Waterfall.

Day 5 - Tokyo/Mt. Fuji/Hakone (L)
Drive halfway up Mt. Fuji. Continue to the historic Hakone Barrier, cruise on Lake Ashi, and ride the Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway. (Hotel Kowaki-en)

Day 6 - Hakone/Kyoto (L)
Bullet train to Kyoto. Afternoon excursion to Nara. Visit Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Shrine, and Deer Park. Return to Kyoto for overnight. (New Miyako Hotel/Westin Miyako Hotel)

Day 7 - Kyoto (L)
Morning city tour to Golden Pavilion, Nijojo Castle, and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Afternoon tour includes Sanjuasangendo Hall, Heian Shrine, and Kiyomizu Temple

Day 8 - Kyoto/Osaka/Seoul
Bus transfer to Osaka to board Asiana airlines flight to Seoul. Private transfer to your hotel. (Hamilton Hotel/Sofitel Ambassador Hotel)

Day 9 - Seoul (B/L/D)
A full-day tour of this national capital includes Kyongbok Palace, Chokyesa Temple, Changdok Palace and its beautiful Secret Garden, the Folklore Museum and the popular It'aewon shopping district. At night visit Korea House, appreciate Korean traditional culture, taste Korean food while enjoying a traditional performance.

Day 10 - Seoul /Mt. Gaya/Daegu (B)
In the morning, take a train to the central city of Daegu. Upon arrival drive by coach to Mt. Gaya National Park. Visit Haeinsa Temple, known as the repository of the Tripitaka Koreana, a set of 80,000 wooden printing blocks engraved with one of the most comprehensive compilations of the Buddhist scriptures in all of Asia. Later, return to Daegu and check in to Eldis Regent Hotel or similar.

Day 11 - Daegu/Kyongju (B)
In the morning, take your onward express bus to Kyongju. Afternoon sightseeing tour takes you to the Bulgugsa Temple of the Shilla Kingdom of 6th century and Seokguram Grotto dating back to the same period. (Concorde Hotel)

Day 12 - Kyongju/Seoul (B)
Today's sightseeing in Kyongju starts at the royal tombs at Tumuli Park. Then visit Anapchi Pond, the 7th century Chomsongdai astronomical observatory, and the National Museum. Transfer to the railway station for an express train back to Seoul. Transfer to hotel. (Sofitel Ambassador Hotel)

Day 13 - Seoul (B)
Take an excursion to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Two kilometers away from the truce line on the North and South border, DMZ is one of the last relics of the Cold War and a unique area where tension and peace coincide.

Day 14 - Seoul/USA (B)
Fly on Singapore Airlines to San Francisco. Arrive home the same day.
