Nanta Cooks - A Non-Verbal Performance
VIP seat: $70.00 per person
A Seats: $60.00 per person
Daily schedule: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm & 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm. Transfer not included.
Figuratively, NANTA means reckless punching, as in a slugfest at a boxing match. NANTA is a non-verbal performance of reckless rhythms that dramatize customary Korean percussion in a strikingly comedic stage show. Integrating uniquely Korean traditional tempos with a western performance style, NANTA storms on stage into a huge kitchen where four capricious cooks are preparing a wedding banquet. While cooking, they turn all kinds of kitchen items - pots, pans, dishes, knives, chopping board, water bottles, even brooms and each other - into percussion instruments. Rhythm rules, as the audience is swept along in the primitive sound explosion and actions on stage. Though the performance is built primarily on captivating rhythms and has very few spoken words, audiences of all ages and nationalities can easily enjoy the plot and dramas.

Chongdong Theater - A Korean Traditional Music & Dance Performance
$40.00 per person
Daily schedule: 8:00 pm - 9:20 pm. Transfer not included.
Located at the center of Seoul, Chongdong Theater is an affiliated organization under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Upholding the spirit of Wongaksa, the first modern theater in Korea, it stages both traditional and modern performing arts. Rebuilt in 1995 as a reproduction of Wongaksa, it is the only theater in Korea solely devoted to stage performances. Every day since 1997, the theater has staged the Korean Traditional Stage performance to keep the passion of traditional Korean arts alive. The Korean Traditional Stage enables audiences to enjoy the quintessence of four genres of traditional Korean performing arts (traditional dance, Pung-Mul, So-Ri and musical instrument performance) throughout the year. One of Korea’s best traditional Korean art performances, it has been highly praised by renowned figures at home and abroad and by foreign tourists.

Jump - A Comic Martial Art Performance

A Seats: $60.00 per person

Korea’s dynamic new hit show, the spectacular Martial Arts Performance JUMP, fuses the ancient Korean fighting arts of Tae-kwon-do with Tae-Kyun and other Asian martial arts. Throw in a dash of acrobatics with fine comic acting and you have a great evening out. Previous martial arts shows have focused mostly on the craft, with the technique itself being the show. JUMP is non-verbal performance that is the first show of its kind to blend martial arts performance with a compelling and hilarious narrative. Fantasy and fighting come together as acrobatics and martial arts combine in a dazzling and jaw-dropping performance, usually seen only on movie screens.
