Depart on Air Pacific trans-Pacific flight for Sydney, Australia.
Day 2, Wednesday - En Route
Cross International Date Line.
Day 3, Thursday - Sydney
Arrive in Sydney, and transfer to your hotel. (Four Points By Sheraton Hotel/Radisson Plaza Hotel)
Day 4, Friday - Sydney
After breakfast at the hotel, join a morning tour to a wildlife park to see Australia's unique native fauna up close. Then board Captain Cook's lunch cruise on Sydney Harbor. After lunch, continue on the city tour that includes Sydney's birthplace (The Rocks), the Sydney Opera House, and Mrs Macquaries Chair. Travel through trendy Paddington and Double Bay to famous Bondi Beach. (B/L)

Day 8, Tuesday - Cairns

Day 10, Thursday - Alice Springs/Ayers Rock
Travel past vast Outback cattle stations on your way to Ayers Rock. Upon arrival, visit the Olgas and explore the massive rock domes. Day 11, Friday - Ayers Rock/Melbourne

Day 12, Saturday - Melbourne
A half-day city tour includes the famous Queen Victoria market, the Shrine of Remembrance, the peaceful King's Domain Gardens and Royal Botanic Gardens, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Royal Exhibition Buildings. Drive down Collins Street, the ultimate shopping strip and business center, and see the world-renowned Melbourne Cricket Ground. (B)
Day 13, Sunday - Melbourne/Auckland

Day 14, Monday - Auckland/Waitomo/Rotorua

Day 15, Tuesday - Rotorua
A morning visit to the Agrodome to see an entertaining sheep show, followed by Rainbow Springs.At Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, visit the Maori Cultural Arts and Crafts Center, followed by a tour of the soaring geysers and bubbling mud pools. Day 16, Wednesday- Rotorua/Queenstown

Day 17, Thursday - Milford Sound
Drive from Queenstown through the Fiordland National Park. On arrival at Milford Sound, enjoy a cruise on the tranquil waters of the fiord, with a view of the famous Mitre Peak and waterfalls. Return to Queenstown in the evening. (B/L)
Day 18, Friday - Queenstown/Franz Josef
Drive north by coach through scenic wilderness of Haast Pass to Franz Josef, an area of soaring mountain peaks, impressive glaciers, tranquil lakes, raging rivers, lush rain forest and magnificent coastline. (Glacier Hotel) (B)
Day 19, Saturday - Franz Josef/ Greymouth/Christchurch

A morning city tour visits the Arts and Crafts Center, Cathedral Square, and Canterbury Museum, with a tea stop at Sign of the Takahe. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

In the afternoon, depart for the US via Air Pacific, and arrive home the same day. Or join the Fiji Extension. (B)
