Your all-inclusive vacation package begins with a flight from Los Angeles to Bangkok, where you are met by a tour guide and transferred to your Bangkok hotel. The next 2 days are spent in Bangkok, traveling the city and seeing its many wonders and enjoying its regional cuisine. Over the next 4 days, you will travel to 8 cities in northern Thailand and see the architectural wonders that each one possesses, such as the many temples and ruins. A long-tailed speedboat ride up the Mekong adds some excitement as you race to the Golden Temple. You'll travel to Mae Hong Son and take an exhilarating elephant ride through the jungle to visit the Padong tribe. On day 13, you arrive back at your Bangkok hotel. The following day has you returning to the USA.
Sample Itinerary:

Day 1, Thursday - Los Angeles/Bangkok
Depart from Los Angeles via Cathay Pacific Airways trans-Pacific flight to Bangkok.

Day 2, Friday - En Route
Cross the International Date Line.

Day 3, Saturday - Bangkok
Upon arrival in Bangkok, you are met and transferred to your hotel. (Park Plaza Hotel)

Day 4, Sunday - Bangkok
Today's city tour includes the Grand Palace and some of the most renowned Buddhist temples, the Temple of the Golden Buddha and the huge Reclining Buddha at Wat Po. (B)

Day 5, Monday - Bangkok
Morning, cruise along the Chao Phraya River and see the Temple of Dawn. Afternoon free. Tonight, enjoy Thai delicacies and a performance of traditional Thai dances. (B/D)

Day 6, Tuesday - Bangkok/Ayuthaya/ Pitsanuloke
Morning, depart by coach and boat for Ayuthaya. Visit Wat Panangchoen and some ancient ruins. Continue to Bang Sadet village and, after lunch, to Pitsanuloke. Visit Wat Maha That. Overnight in Pitsanuloke. (Amarin Lagoon Hotel) (B/L)

Day 7, Wednesday - Pitsanuloke/Sukhothai/Lampang
Depart for Sukhothai to visit the ruins of this first capital of Thailand. Continue to Sri Satchanalai for lunch. Arrive in Lampang and take a horse-carriage ride through town with photo stops at interesting temples. Visit Baan Sao Nak, a century-old teakwood mansion. (Lampang River Lodge) (B/L)

Day 8, Thursday - Lampang/Golden Triangle/Chiang Rai
Morning, drive to the Golden Triangle. After lunch, take a boat ride on the Mekong River. Continue to Mae Sai, the northernmost city bordering Myanmar. Overnight in Chiang Rai. (Rimkok Resort) (B/L)

Day 9, Friday - Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai
Early morning, depart for Chiang Mai, with a brief photo stop at the striking Wat Rong Khun. Arrive in Chiang Mai and check into your hotel. After lunch at the hotel, visit Wat Doi Suthep. Tonight, enjoy a kantoke dinner with music and dance by various hilltribes. (Empress Chiang Mai Hotel) (B/L/D)

Day 10, Saturday - Chiang Mai
Morning, visit Mae Saa elephant camp. Continue to an orchid farm for lunch. Return to town and visit the handicraft villages in Sankampheng. (B/L)

Day 11, Sunday - Chiang Mai/Mae Hong Son
Morning, transfer to airport for flight to Mae Hong Son. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, visit the temples Jong Kham and Jong Klang. (Imperial Tara Hotel) (B/L/D)

Day 12, Monday - Mae Hong Son
Drive to Khaya hilltribe village, then change onto elephants for a ride through the jungle to visit the Padong tribe (Giraffe Women). After lunch, drive to Sop Soi and board longtailed speed boats for a one-hour trip down the Pai River. Return to Mae Hong Son for dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 13, Tuesday - Mae Hong Son/Bangkok
Before breakfast visit a morning market. Then drive south to visit the "Meo Micro Wave" hilltribe village. Afternoon flight to Bangkok. (Park Plaza Hotel) (B/L/D)

Day 14, Wednesday - Bangkok/Los Angeles
