Day 11, Thursday - Xian
The highlight of a visit to Xian is a trip to the excavation of the 6,000 life-size terra-cotta warriors and horses guarding the tomb of the Emperor Qinshi Huangdi. Stop at Hua Qing Hot Springs en route. Tonight enjoy a feast of delicate dumplings. (B/L/D)

Day 12, Friday - Xian/Beijing

A full-day sightseeing reveals the wonders of this 3,000-year-old city. Day 10, Wednesday - Chengdu/Kunming

Day 11, Thursday - Kunming
Today, travel about two hours southeast to see the unique geological formations of the Stone Forest, and perhaps visit a village of the Sani people. (B/L)

Day 12, Friday - Kunming/Dali
After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly to scenic Dali. Visit Lake Erhai, the Three White Pagodas, and the old city. (Asia Star Hotel) (B/L/D)

Day 13, Saturday - Dali/Lijiang
