Book Your Trip to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Penang

Cathay Pacific Airways will bring you to your first destination, the island of Penang in Malaysia. The first thing you will notice is how tranquil and beautiful the island is. A comfortable room in a spacious Penang hotel will have you rested before the next day's activities, which includes visits to the Snake Temple, a fishing village and many other scenic stops on your Penang tour. Your next destination is the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The Kuala Lumpur tour includes visits to some incredible architectural structures like the Parliament House and the National Mosque. An evening stroll through Chinatown is a favorite part of this holiday. On the seventh day, your schedule is free, so fill the day with whatever activities you desire. Your Kuala Lumpur travel picks up the following day with visits to many religious regions and buildings. Travel to Singapore for a day to relax. The next day, your Singapore tour begins with visits to many of the significant attractions of the area such as the waterfront and Little India. A delicious dinner is enjoyed while we cruise through the picturesque harbor. The next day has an afternoon flight for Bangkok, where you will visit the Grand Palace and The Temple of the Golden Buddha, as well as others.

Day 1, Thursday - USA/Penang
Depart this morning on Cathay Pacific Airways flight bound for Penang.

Day 2, Friday - En Route
Cross the International Date Line.

Day 3, Saturday - Penang
Arrive in Penang, the tranquil island paradise of the Orient. Transfer to your hotel. (Holiday Inn/Park Royal Hotel)

Day 4, Sunday - Penang
Enjoy an island tour, which includes a visit to Georgetown, the Snake Temple, fruit and clove plantations, a batik factory, fishing village, Fort Cornwall and the Bukit Dunbar Reservoir. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 5, Monday - Penang/Kuala Lumpur
Arrive in Malaysia's capital city of Kuala Lumpur. You are greeted and transferred to your hotel. (Park Royal Hotel/Shangri-La Hotel) (B)

Day 6, Tuesday - Kuala Lumpur
Morning tour of Kuala Lumpur. See the Moorish-style Railway Station, stunning architectural design of the Parliament House, the National Mosque, King's Palace and the Museum containing dramatic exhibits of the past. This evening starts with a stroll in Chinatown, followed by a Malay dinner and cultural show. (B/D)

Day 7, Wednesday - Kuala Lumpur
Today, your time is at leisure for independent exploration of this neat and clean city with well-planned gardens that make strolling a pleasure. (B)

Day 8, Thursday - Kuala Lumpur/Malacca/ Kuala Lumpur
Drive south via the Seremban/Malacca Highway, passing rubber and oil palm plantations, satellite towns and typical villages. On arrival at the historical town of Malacca, proceed to the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple on the Street of Harmony. Drive by the antique/junk street to greet the imposing red Dutch Stadhuys building. Take a stroll up St. Paul's Hill to see the ruins of St. Paul's Church, where St. Francis Xavier was once buried. Visit the Porta de Santiago. Lunch at a city restaurant. Return to Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon. (B/L)

Day 9, Friday - Kuala Lumpur/Singapore
Fly to Singapore. Transfer to the hotel. Remainder of day at leisure. (York Hotel/ Pan Pacific Hotel) (B)

Day 10, Saturday - Singapore
This morning's city tour of Singapore includes the bustling waterfront, Chinatown, Little India and the botanical garden's orchid collection. Remainder of the day free. Tonight we gather for a dinner cruise through the harbor. (B/D)

Day 11, Sunday - Singapore/Bangkok
At leisure today before you are transferred for your afternoon flight bound for Bangkok. (Amari Atrium Hotel/Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel) (B)

Day 12, Monday - Bangkok
Today's tour includes visits to the Grand Palace and some of the most renowned Buddhist temples: the Temple of the Golden Buddha and the huge Reclining Buddha at Wat Po. (B)

Day 13, Tuesday - Bangkok
Take a morning cruise along the canals of the Chao Phraya River, passing busy river traffic, the royal barges, and the Temple of Dawn. Afternoon free. Tonight, enjoy Thai specialties and a performance of Thai classical dances. (B/D)

Day 14, Wednesday - Bangkok/USA
