This 8 day/6 night Japan tour package can be expanded with an additional 3 days and 2 nights Hiroshima extension for a fully comprehensive trip to Japan. The Japan Express Vacation Package is the Ideal Way to Travel Japan

Your trip begins as you depart Los Angeles and arrive in Tokyo via Singapore Airlines. You'll then transfer to your Tokyo hotel. During a morning tour of Tokyo, travel to Tokyo Tower, the Imperial Palace Plaza and many other historical landmarks. The afternoon is yours to enjoy. With this Japan tour, you won't be confined to Tokyo. Trips will be taken to such cities as Nikko, where you can see the Toshogu Shrine and the picturesque Kengo Waterfall, and Hakone, where you can take a cruise on Lake Ashi and ride an aerial cableway up Mt. Komagatake. The bullet train ride into Kyoto is an exhilarating experience. Once there, you will take a city tour of some of its most famous buildings, such as the Golden Pavilion and the Kiyomizu Temple, among others. Your trip will end with a short flight to Osaka to catch the flight from Tokyo back to the USA. If you optioned for the Hiroshima extension, then your trip to Japan will not end here. You will take the bullet train from Kyoto to Hiroshima, where you will see the emotionally powerful Peace Memorial Park. Another bullet train takes you to Kurashiki and a visit to the Ohara Museum of Art and the Kurashiki Folkcraft Museum. A final train ride has you arriving in Osaka where you will catch a flight to Tokyo to connect with Singapore Airlines for a return trip to the USA.

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1, Friday - Los Angeles/Tokyo
Depart the USA via Singapore Airlines trans-Pacific flight for Tokyo. Cross the International Date Line en route.

Day 2, Saturday - Tokyo
Arrive in Tokyo and transfer to your hotel. (Grand Palace Hotel/Keio Plaza Hotel)

Day 3, Sunday - Tokyo
Morning city tour to Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon temple and Tasaki Pearl. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4, Monday - Tokyo/Nikko/Tokyo
Full-day excursion to Nikko, visiting Toshogu Shrine, Rinnoji Temple, Lake Chuzenji, and Kegon Waterfall. (L)

Day 5, Tuesday - Tokyo/Mt. Fuji/Hakone
Drive halfway up Mt. Fuji. Continue to the historic Hakone Barrier, cruise on Lake Ashi, and ride the Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway. (Hotel Kowaki-en) (L)

Day 6, Wednesday - Hakone/Kyoto
Bullet train to Kyoto. Afternoon excursion to Nara. Visit Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Shrine, and Deer Park. Return to Kyoto for overnight. (Rihga Royal Hotel/ Westin Miyako Hotel) (L)

Day 7, Thursday - Kyoto
Morning city tour to Golden Pavilion, Nijojo Castle, and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Afternoon tour includes Sanjuasangendo Hall, Heian Shrine, and Kiyomizu Temple. (L)

Day 8, Friday - Kyoto/Osaka/USA
Bus transfer to Osaka to board Japan Airlines to Tokyo and connect with Singapore Airlines flight. Return to the US, arriving home the same day.

Day 8, Friday - Kyoto/Hiroshima
Transfer to Kyoto Station and board a bullet train to Hiroshima. Visit the colorful Itsukushima Shrine with its red torii gate in Miyajima and Peace Memorial Park with its museum of nuclear devastation. (Granvia Hotel) (L)

Day 9, Saturday - Hiroshima/Okayama/Osaka
Bullet train to Kurashiki. Visit Ohara Museum of Art and Kurashiki Folkcraft Museum. After lunch take a train to Okayama and visit Korakuen Garden, laid out in 1700 and one of the three most famous gardens in Japan. Train to Osaka. (Hotel New Hankyu/Rihga Royal Hotel) (L)

Day 10, Sunday - Osaka/Los Angeles
