You will begin your China Extravaganza with a Beijing tour that includes visits to Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the awesome Great Wall. Tour guides are always available to help you get the most from your visit. Next, you'll fly to Xian, where you will stay at one of the many luxurious Xian hotels. The Tomb of Emperor Qinshi Huangdi holds many secrets and you'll get a chance to see it first-hand. You'll then head to historic Shanghai, where you will rest in luxury in a Shanghai hotel at night, while you visit the Bund and Yu Garden during the day. Next on the itinerary are visits to Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou and Hangzhou, also known as "Paradise on Earth." You'll travel the countryside by train and take in the scenic wonders at every stop. Unless you extended your trip to visit Giulin and Hong Kong, your trip will end with an early morning train ride to Shanghai for a flight home. If you want even more of the Orient experience, the Guilin/Hong Kong extension is perfect for you. From Shanghai, you'll travel to Guilin and visit the incredible rock formations at Reed Flute Cave.
